The company are a major player and manufacturer of capital equipment and technology based product, part of a worldwide group of companies with revenues in excess of $12B US. With over 100 companies operating in six different industry sectors, they have over 50,000 employees worldwide and are active in all major markets. After undergoing a strategic business review, they are now looking to strengthen their Sales team with high calibre capital equipment professional.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer

The role has been created due to current company growth, projected growth plans, and the number of opportunities that have arisen in the area

Reporting to the UK General Manager, the role will require you to identify and create new business opportunities and managing existing accounts in a wide range of industries including food, manufacturing, processing, pharmaceutical and beverage.

You will be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses your own performance, you will be credible, and comfortable in dealing with both internal and external contacts. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, well-presented and business like.

We are interested in receiving applications from career minded individuals qualified to at least ONC level in a technical discipline who have a track record of selling low to medium value capital equipment to preferably the food, beverage, processing, manufacturing or pharmaceutical markets.

You could have previously held one of the following roles: Key Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Executive, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Service Engineer
